Last night Tyler, The Creator performed his latest IGOR album in full during an intimate show held in Los Angeles.
Shared via Apple Music, Tyler’s performance included not only his new singles but also a look into how the album was created, which he explained via multiple stories. For example he stated that “EARFQUAKE” was originally written for Justin Bieber and pitched to Rihanna, but was eventually rejected by both of them. The artist also went on to discuss the trip he took to Italy with Frank Ocean and how “RUNNING OUT OF TIME” was recorded during a session with A$AP Ferg.
"We rented a warehouse, we set some shit up," Tyler told Zane Lowe about the event. "I’m a perform for 43 goddamn minutes, do some songs, they going to film this shit, but the fans going to like it because they going to be there, and we going to call it a god damn day." Stream the concert now over at Apple Music.
IGOR released last week and acts as the follow-up to his 2017 album, Flower Boy.
Looking to catch him live? Tyler, The Creator will be heading to London later this year.
