As part of a slew of Disney+ announcements from the media and entertainment conglomerate’s D23 Expo 2019 event, Jeff Goldblum and National Geographic have released the trailer for the two parties’ forthcoming TV series, The World According to Jeff Goldblum. The new show is set to follow the actor-meets-style icon as he shares his fascination for all things sneakers, denim, tattoos, food, and more.
Set to debut with 12 episodes, the series sees Goldblum teaming with NatGeo (which Disney owns) to dissect everything from his favorite denim, sneakers, and foods, to synchronized swimming, temporal 3-D imaging systems, and much more. As Goldblum reiterates in the trailer above, the series maintains itself as “a little off the beaten track.”
Previously Goldblum spoke with Collider about the show, explaining that “it’s the world according to Jeff Goldblum, it’s me with all the information and experience that my life has entailed up ’til this point now,” continuing with “it’s not as if I do some extra home/research/bone up on it so that I tend to know something about it and tell you about it.”
