Houston-bred musician Lizzo recently accepted a jazz-flute battle with Anchorman‘s Ron Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell), officially delivering her incredible response earlier this week. Not only did the singer prove she is up for a challenge, but in her own words she’s out "for blood" when she takes one on.
Lizzo acts coy in the opening of the video, claiming she only "dabbles" with using the instrument before taking to the stage for a no-holds-barred performance. The artist shows off her effortless skills through a lively lounge set, where she is cheered on as she walks across tables, stomps on burgers and even pops up in a bathroom stall, all while masterfully playing the flute. To top it off, she ends with a literally-flaming finale and drops the "mic" after wrapping up her solo with a simple yet taunting, "Bitch."
The entertaining bit comes after the rapper’s "Juice" single that dropped earlier this year. Directed by Quinn Wilson, the visuals highlight Lizzo’s vibrant personality through a series of colorful scenes and eccentric characters. Her latest EP, Coconut Oil, released in 2016.
