You can’t deny that Mexican painter Frida Kahlo is one of the most influential and immortalized artists of our time (also see: Selena Quintanilla). So it’s no surprise that a collaboration with well-known brand like Vans has come together to bring us more Kahlo merchandise we can wear to show our love.
Starting on June 29, Vault by Vans will continue to honor the artist’s legacy with a “truly unique collection of footwear.” The Vans x Frida Kahlo collection “brings a carefully curated selection of Kahlo’s paintings to life on Vans classics.”
From the OG Slip-On LX featuring Frida Kahlo’s self-portrait, to the OG Authentic LX with Kahlo’s famous watermelon painting, to a pair of OG SK8-HI LX featuring Kahlo’s “Las Dos Fridas” in true white, you’re going to want to get your hands on a pair.
Vault by Vans has previously collaborated other brands and reintroduced iconic names such as Marukami, van Gogh, and Ralph Steadman.
Mark your calendars and make sure to check the list of select Vault Dealers (it can be found here) to snag a pair when they drop.
