Trust Me—Buy This is a monthly series where our market editor, Nicole Eshaghpour, makes her favorite real-life fashion finds shoppable for Who What Wear readers.

In case you’re new to this, today I’ll be rounding up my favorite items of the moment with more of a personal spin than your usual shopping story. These special selects are the pieces I’ve been loving not only online but IRL too. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I share my own snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I get to both show and tell you what I’m really wearing every month.

Seeing as we’re in peak summer but also have turned our shopping focus to the months ahead, naturally, August was really all over the place in terms of seasonality. From warm-weather staples such as swimsuits and cover-ups to fall-ready pieces like the jewelry trend I’m obsessed with and already wearing and the pants that have me (temporarily) caring less about my beloved jeans, below you’ll find quite the mix of items both for now and later. Chinky gold necklaces are by far my favorite jewelry trend for fall, so I’ve already started wearing it myself. I love this one from Monica Vinader because it makes a subtle statement, so I feel like I can wear it every day and not get tired of it. This cardigan is an old, old buy from one of my favorite brands, Dôen, that sadly isn’t for sale anymore, but below you’ll find an affordable and similar and affordable style from Urban Outfitters that I think will satisfy your chunky knit fix just the same.

Aside from how good the print of this black-and-white leopard bikini is, I can’t help but focus on the flattering cut. It’s a French style top, so the straps are like a tank rather than tying around your neck, and the high-waisted bottoms are ruched, giving a smoothing and slimming effect. Paired with this polka-dot pareo, it was one of my favorite suits of the season.

According to all my friends who saw this photo, it’s impossible to find a simple and delicate gold anklet that won’t rust on you—so here you go, I found it! Here, I paired it with these trendy, square-toe mules from Wandler, but it looks great with any shoe, so there’s no reason to ever take it off.

I was eyeing this suit for so long before it finally became mine, and all I can say is: It’s worth the wait! I’ve said this a million times, but I just think it’s genius how the bottom is a darker shade of blue, giving the illusion that you’ve just half-dipped into the water. It’s a subtle detail that makes the suit so much cooler.

Combine the fact that they’re the perfect kitten heel height, are comfortable, and in of-the-moment zebra print, which just happens to be a major fall trend, and you have what I believe to be the ideal shoe for next season. But of course you can also start wearing it now.

Fun-fact: I love a party look! This is a detail shot from a recent event I went to in my new favorite dress of all time by Alessandra Rich. I plan to repeat-wear it a bunch, simply switching up the shoes and accessories. On that night, I styled it with my L’Afshar shoulder bag (through which you can also see my go-to lip color).

Like seemingly all other fashion girls, I’m a sucker for a good Reformation dress, so when I saw this snake-print one, I had to have it. I especially love it because the versatile print was an easy match for sandals in summer, but I think it will also look good with boots or slingbacks in fall.

Yup, another bikini! This unique animal print is a signature of Reina Olga, and if you’re not familiar with her celeb-loved brand, you should be now. With the coolest prints and cuts and the approval of Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, and more, it’s a brand that won’t steer you wrong.

I don’t usually wear skirts to work (simply because I love jeans and pants), but this one was so comfortable and easy to style, I almost forgot why midi skirts are not more my MO. My favorite thing about it, though, is the multicolored buttons and while this piece is now sold out, the brand has a dress in stock that has the same feature.

Last, but not least, is this cute clip-strap suit that takes the basic black one-piece and makes it, well, not so basic. I love pieces like this because when your style is relatively simple, spicing up your essentials ensures you won’t look boring. On this day, I wore it with a tie-dye shirt tied around my waist in place of a tradition cover-up.
