Last month, Toro Y Moi decided to begin 2019 by releasing a new studio album titled Outer Peace. Made up of ten tracks, the aforementioned LP served as the full-length follow-up to 2017’s Boo Boo project. Now, continuing to support Outer Peace, Toro Y Moi revisits the album for a new visual in support of Outer Peace standout "Ordinary Pleasure." The "Ordinary Pleasure" video was directed by Mancy Gant and filmed at the headquarters for Chaz Bundick’s Company Records label — it also stars several of his Toro Y Moi bandmates.
"This record is a response to how disposable culture has become and how it affects creativity," Toro Y Moi previously shared, breaking down the sonic and creative direction of Outer Peace and its contents. "While listening, you might pay attention or ignore, either way that’s ok, this is music for a creative mind."
