TIDAL is officially giving users the option to block artists and songs from curated playlists. Beating Spotify to the punch, the update comes after fans – and subscribers – expressed concerns about how streaming services should treat music artists with controversial pasts.
Users can now easily remove musicians and songs by using a block symbol that’s shown on the playing page. Once this is done, you have the choice of blocking the artist’s full catalog or a single song. Additionally, the block feature can be switched off if you have a change of heart.
