Ivanka Trump is both the First Daughter and Special Assistant to the President, given a West Wing office, classified information clearance and a government-issued phone, something that caused the public to cry nepotism.
Since her appointment, the 37-year-old has only taken on more responsibility, attending state events in place of her father and even considered for the role of UN Ambassador earlier this year. And after her recent dramatic image change, there are rumours that her role is going to give her even more power as she discusses issues that are more and more serious.
People were unsurprised therefore when Vicky Ward’s new book, Kushner Inc.: Greed. Ambition. Corruption, alleged that the First Daughter was aiming for the President role herself.

The book, based on over 200 interviews, calls Ivanka and her husband Jared ‘power-hungry’, with one source alleging that ‘the two of them see this as a networking opportunity’.
‘She thinks she’s going to be president of the United States,’ Trump’s former economic advisor, Gary Cohn admitted. ‘She thinks this is like the Kennedys, the Bushes, and now the Trumps.’
The current President himself, Donald Trump, has only fuelled the rumours this week, hinting in an interview with The Atlantic that in his opinion she might even make a better president than him.
‘If she wanted to run for President, I think she’d be very, very hard to beat,’ he explained.
‘She would’ve been great at the United Nations, as an example,’ he continued, explaining that he intended on doing so but stopped because ’They’d say nepotism, when it would’ve had nothing to do with nepotism.’
He continued: ‘But she would’ve been incredible…. I even thought of Ivanka for the World Bank. She would’ve been great at that because she’s very good with numbers.’
Well that’s that.
