You might already have heard of The Vampire’s Wife, because it has literally been everywhere in the past year (though it launched in 2014). It’s been spotted on the likes of Keira Knightley, Alexa Chung and Dakota Johnson, as well as all over Instagram.
The reason why is plain to see: the designs serve up a modern twist on 70s designs. Think floral dresses with rounded necks and ruffles, and updated florals that definitely do not belong on your mother’s curtains. Sure, they aren’t for the faint-hearted, but it’s hard to imagine not feeling joyful wearing them.
And if you haven’t yet been able to try the designs, you’ll be able to get your hands on an exclusive capsule from 1st of March on Net-A-Porter.
The eight-piece capsule comprises of the brand’s cult dresses and ‘speak to the brand’s subversive femininity, in exclusive Liberty prints, emerald corduroy, printed velvets alongside a silk metallic chiffon in frosted pink’.
Susie Cave, Creative Director, The Vampire’s Wife, says, ‘This special offering was designed with their incredibly stylish woman in mind, whilst still staying true the brand’s signature aesthetic and will drop alongside the mainline collection.
‘The silks and velvet fabrics feel so light and beautiful against the skin. This capsule features some of my favorite dresses that I’ve designed to date, and I’m in love with them all.’
Prices will range from £696 to £1.45k, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it sold out fast.
