Up for auction is a 1-of-1, 1984 off-road Porsche 911 Carrera. Dubbed the "SARAFI," this project car started out as an already impressive 911 3.2 Carrera which was used in a winter Hoonigans photoshoot by Larry Chen and Will Roegge. All the drifting and revving caught the attention of Director of Operations of Kelly-Moss, Andy Kilcoyne (the KMR office was just across the frozen lake they were drifting on) and the rest is history.
Purchasing the Porsche from Will, Andy Kilcoyne and his team set out to make their version of a "SAFARI" 911. Taking 10 months to complete, the KMR SAFARI features larger wheel wells to accommodate the LT245/65/R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires, a carbon-kevlar roof, 30” Black Oak LED light bars at the front and rear, a 40” light bar at the roof, Hella Rallye horns, 6-pot Brembo brakes, reinforced chassis/suspension components, MoTeC electrical, and a KMR custom full roll cage, to name just a few of the mods. The vehicle is powered by KMR’s fully-built 3.4L engine which puts down 340hp.
Those with $375,000 USD burning a hole in their pocket can head over to Vicci Auctions for the full listing.
