It’s safe to say the Duchess of Sussex is a bit of a trendsetter, putter her own spin on royal style, including jewellery. Meghan is known for layering fine jewellery like this Missoma ring, with chunkier more high-end jewels like say, this tiara from the Queen.
Now the Meghan sparkle strikes again with a necklace trend that was perhaps considered a little naf before (remember buying them with your pocket money at Argos?), but no more: the ‘mummy’ necklace.
The Duchess was gifted it for her baby shower in New York, which was hosted by Amal Clooney and Serena Williams. It was created by jewellery Jennifer Meyer and features the word in cute gold letters.
She’s been spotted wearing it ever since, like the time she joined Prince Harry on stage at Wembley for WE day.
Naturally, people are now going crazy for it, and I’m willing to bet it will be the present of choice on Mother’s Day this Sunday.
