Ghost Walking Tour of Boyle Heights

Spend two hours immersed in the haunted history of Boyle Heights. The tour is organized by community activist and local historian Barrio Boychik (aka Shmuel Gonzales) with Casa 0101 Theater artistic director, restaurant owner, and paranormal researcher Josefina Lopez. The pair promise a tour that, “will give you goosebumps, but empower you to not be afraid of the dark.”
Middleditch & Schwartz
Tuesday, March 26
Comedy buddies Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz bring their show to the Wiltern. You’ll recognize Middleditch from Silicon Valley and Schwartz from Parks and Recreation. Together, the duo performs a show of two-person “long form improv.”
Shoplifters Screening at the Japan Foundation
Wednesday, March 27
If you missed out on Japan’s charming Oscar-contender Shoplifters, take this opportunity to catch the film on the big screen. The screening is free and doesn’t require advance registration, so just walk on in.
RY X at the Theatre at Ace Hotel
Thursday, March 28
Aussie-born, L.A.-based musician (and surfer) RY X, takes his singer-songwriter inspo from the likes of Jeff Buckley, but he’s also been sought out by Rihanna and other pop luminaries for remixes and electronic-leaning production. The on-stage hats and flowy robes are A+, too.
Eliot Glazer’s Haunting Renditions with Trixie Mattel and Kate Berlant
Friday, March 29
Comedian Eliot Glazer brings his web series, Haunting Reditions, to the stage at Dynasty Typewriter, with help from Trixie Mattel and Kate Berlant. What are the haunting renditions, you might ask? Take the concept of MTV Unplugged or Austin City Limits, but make it a little twisted, and very funny.
