Just when you thought all of the fashion weeks were over, we have one more left to fill you in on—Bridal Fashion Week. Bridal Fashion Week stirs up less of a buzz than your average ready-to-wear collection showings do, but if you’re getting married in the next year or two (or simply dream about your attire on the future big day), these bridal collections can be more inspiring to you than any shoe or bag trend ever was. Today, we’re here to educate you on the spring 2020 bridal trends that reigned supreme this Bridal Fashion Week.
Naturally, the spring 2020 bridal collections stunned with the typical wedding adornments, but according to Robi Correia, deputy digital director of Brides, there were a few trends that stood out to her among the rest. "Wedding dress trends always tend to stick around for a bit—think of off-the-shoulder, lace sleeves, and deep V-neck’s staying power. The dresses we just saw on the Bridal Fashion Week runways are sure to set the tone for the next few seasons, and while some of our favorite classic silhouettes were around, a few new wedding dress trends definitely caught my eye," she said.
Ahead, discover Correia’s take on seven bridal trends you need to know from the most recent collections and shop my personal market picks along the way, should waiting a whole year for these styles to come to fruition feel unfathomable. If you have a wedding on your horizon, we suggest you take notes.
