But despite the SAG awards and the BAFTAs being imminent, there’s one awards show on everyone’s lips today, the 2019 Academy Awards, set to take place at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre on Monday 25th February.
We’re in for an evening of sweet red carpet moments, emotional speeches and some high profile political activism if last year is anything to go by, with the event already making news over the controversial appointment of Kevin Hart as host, with the Oscars now going host-less, led instead by a collection of actors and actresses.
