On the heels of Anthony Van Engelen‘s collaborative AVE Pro release with Vans, The Berrics has put together a skate tour through the streets of NYC featuring an interview with the pro skater. The latest iteration marks Van Engelen’s 10th collaboration with the California sneaker brand and the duo’s first cupsole release in nearly 15 years, making it truly remarkable. He explains how the AVE Pro has evolved from typical models as it features a Rapidweld upper with no-sew stitching technology, mesh materials and a thinner cupsole with stronger grip. The result is perhaps one of the most technically advanced skate shoes ever created.
The innovative footwear also includes suede panels, Duracap™ rubber underlays, an internal liner providing a secure fit, and an UlimateWaffle outsole. The shoe is available at Vans now in three different colorways: tonal blues, black/white, and light gray.
