Prague Fashion Week, one of the emerging Mercedes-Benz-sponsored Fashion Week events held around the globe, plays host to a rotating selection of young designers, established brands and local favorites each season. Though runway presentations are at the heart of the week-long showcase, street style has become the lifeblood, encouraging students, journalists and a host of fashion fanatics to highlight their sharpest looks outside the main venue.
Because most events are open to the public, the citizens of Prague have all the more reason to join in the festivities. This yields attendees from all walks of life; manifesting a diverse spread of garments from both influencer favorites (Fendi, Balenciaga, Off-White) and fledging fashion imprints (Heliot Emil and Prague native Jan Cerny).
Key accessories included branded bags — mostly of the cross-body, shoulder and handbag variety — from the likes of A-COLD-WALL* and Louis Vuitton, complementing logo-rich keychains from Dior and Prada. On-trend sneakers from YEEZY and Virgil Abloh’s immortal "THE TEN" added flourish to the billowing suits that cropped up throughout the week. Indeed, matching sets were in full force, with plenty of beige and black two-pieces styled with street-friendly footwear and chunky sunglasses (goodbye tiny specs). Of course, it wouldn’t be a Fashion Week event without plenty of Supreme, though streetwear counterparts like Palace and NOAH also received some love.
