Rick Owens will be holding a pop-up store at the ANDREAS MURKUDIS this season. The Spring/Summer 2019 pop-up will see Owens’ recent ready-to-wear collection, his Birkenstock collaboration and Germany-exclusive furniture designs.
The designer will be selling his furniture creations at the pop-up store alongside his clothing and footwear offerings. His furniture line, designed to be an ode to Michèle Lamy, spawned from his first product design venture which saw the creation of their marital bed. His furniture blends art with function, using materials such as raw plywood, marble, and moose antlers.
The ANDREAS MURKUDIS spaces at 77, 81 and 98 Potsdamer Straße will also see an ECCO Innovation Lab, a DIEHM BESPOKE DESIGN tailoring service and an Audemars Piguet pop-up store. Throughout the showcase, gallery owner Thomas Fischer will be presenting a collection of photographs from the Japanese photographer Seiichi Furuya and his “Mémoires” series.
Head to the Rick Owens x ANDREAS MURKUDIS 77 pop-up store from April 24 to shop the designer’s collections, books, small objects, Michèle Lamy and Scarlet Rouge collaborative Lavascar Vinyl Records and more.
In case you missed it, Rick Owens recently dropped a new luxurious calf-leather Geobasket for his SS19 Babel line.
