Princess Charlotte of Monaco tied the knot this weekend with film producer Dimitri Rassam, after a year-long engagement, and for the occasion, she wore not one but two gorgeous wedding dresses.
The first one an intricate brocade number by Saint Laurent, which was no surprise as Charlotte has featured in the house’s campaign before. It was a silvery stone colour and featured three oversized bows and a scallop hem cut just above the knee.
They exchanged their vows at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, before heading to the hotel Villa La Vigie for an evening reception, for which the couple changed.
Whilst he wore a white tuxedo with a black tie, the bride wore a gorgeous white satin ballgown, very reminiscent of the ones her grandmother Grace Kelly wore in the golden era of Hollywood. The dress was custom Chanel.
Carrying on with the theme, the princess wore her hair in a chic slicked-back hairdo, and accessorised with an iconic Cartier diamond necklace that once belonged to her grandmother.
The pair wed in front of royal guests which included Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco, as well as the bride’s mother Princess Caroline of Hanover.
Charlotte and Dimitri share a six-month-old son, Balthazar, as well two children from previous relationships.
