Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first baby together any day now, with the future royal due in April.
From baby names and god parents to whether we’ve got a prince or princess on our hands, speculation has been rising around every aspect of Baby Sussex. So has the birth, with royal fans even betting on whether Meghan will give birth at home or visit the Lindo Wing in Kate’s footsteps.
The news was expected to be broken on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new Instagram profile, SussexRoyal, but following a statement today, it seems unlikely that an announcement will be made at all.

The royal couple, who have remained fairly tight-lipped about their ‘little bump’ made an official statement today about how they would be announcing the news, and it turns out they will instead be celebrating ‘privately as a new family’.
‘The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby,’ the couple announced today in a statement.
‘Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private,’ the statement continued. ‘The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.’
