HYPEBAE Pick: Best friends Hyla Nayeri and Adrien Bettio launched 437 Swimwear after realizing they both wanted to get a five-course meal at a restaurant and still feel confident in a swimsuit. In the summer of 2017, the duo launched their brand to allow women to feel like their best selves even in a bikini. The luxe pieces are constructed with a soft polyester-spandex blend. This material allows for each piece to be flattering, making for a curve hugging fit. Most importantly, 437 is created at a Chinese manufacturing facility that has fair wages, mandated safe working conditions and fair working hours.

HYPEBAE Pick: Launched as a swim line in 2013 by Nigerian designer Dumedi Iyamah, Andrea Iyamah Swimwear relies heavily on colorful, unique designs. This brand first fell on our radar via Instagram years ago. Coined as an "eccentric take on swimwear," each piece is well-cut and created with vibrant patterns. Iyamah gets her inspiration from her African heritage and blends various cultures to create her modern collections from season to season. Notably, the brand also specializes in women’s ready-to-wear, which is reflected in the swimwear range.

HYPEBAE Pick: Launching originally in the ’80s, Hunza G first became known due to the iconic mini dress seen on Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Relaunched under creative director, Georgiana Huddart, the London-based brand is now making swimsuits and bikinis with seersucker fabric. The bright colors in the range are impossible to not pay attention to. Current offerings include bandeau sets, ribbed seersucker bikinis and stunning one-pieces.
