OMEGA gears up for its 29th time as the Official Timekeeper for the Olympic Games with Tokyo 2020. To celebrate the momentous occasion, the watchmaker is set to release 2,020 limited edition models of the Seamaster Planet Ocean.
Sitting at 39.5mm in case size, the Seamaster takes on a patriotic demeanor as the colors of the Japanese flag are carried on its white Liquidmetalâ„¢ ceramic bezel and red liquid ceramic "20" numeral. Other details include a white leather strap, white dial, and a red lollipop second hand that’s reminiscent to the Hinomaru — another nod towards the Japanese flag. On top of showing the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 movement, the rear of the display caseback also bears the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem along with the watche’s numbered edition.
Not word yet on pricing, but stay tuned as we’ll be updating you when news arrives.
