OMEGA introduces one of its lightest watches to date. Weighing at just 55 grams, the Seamaster Aqua Terra Ultra Light is constructed out of Gamma Titanium, an aeronautical titanium that is harder and lighter than conventional titanium.
Developed alongside professional golfer Rory McIlroy, the Aqua Terra Ultra Light watch features a push-in screw-down crown meant to prevent the crown from sticking into your hand when playing golf, or when bending your wrist. Powering the watch is OMEGA’s first-ever titanium movement — the Calibre 8928. Due to the material used, the movement appears dark-grey with nice contrast from the jewel bearing system. The Co-Axial escapement also features a resistance to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss.
Priced at $48,600 USD, the Seamaster Aqua Terra Ultra Light watch will go on sale early 2020, and will be avaialble in the colors red, blue and green.
