Because, if there’s anything we love more than skincare and makeup, it’s the combination of the two. 

With so many BB creams on the market, we thought it was high time to narrow down the seemingly endless options into a compact list of tried-and-true favorites. This product from Korean brand Dr. Jart is one of the best-selling BB creams at Sephora (and sales don’t lie). It perfects the complexion with the low-to-medium coverage that’s expected of a BB Cream. It also promises to provide anti-aging effects and SPF 45. 
Tarte’s BB cream offers medium coverage, which is great for someone trying to wean off of foundation. Actually, it’s a great foundation replacement, as it also has a built-in primer. Did we mention it also hydrates the complexion, brightens and smoothes the skin, and protects it from UV rays with an SPF of 30? 
The main issue when it comes to BB creams is an extreme lack of shades. Most offer only a couple, with vague names like Light, Medium, and Deep. That’s why we appreciate this BB cream from Black Radiance. It boasts an impressive and inclusive range of shades, so there’s no need to mix it with foundation in order to match skin tone. 
Lancome’s Bienfait BB Cream is a best-seller at Bloomingdale’s, and for good reason. It offers buildable coverage as well as hydration and antioxidants, thanks to moringa seed extract and chestnut seed extract. 
Burberry’s BB cream is formulated with rosehip, lavender, and tea extract, so it soothes skin, while also disguising uneven tone and slight blemishes. This one has a radiant finish, so fans of a dewy complexion will be very pleased with its glow-inducing effect. 
How about a BB cream in a cushion compact? This one from 3LAB might seem alarmingly expensive, but it lasts a long time and comes with a full refill. Another longtime favorite is this drugstore pick from Physician’s Formula. It offers higher coverage than most other BB creams I’ve tried, yet it still manages to look natural when applied with a damp beauty sponge. With SPF 30 included, it does everything that a BB cream is supposed to do. 
We’re super excited about Found Beauty, especially its blackberry-infused BB cream that hides redness, minor blemishes, and hyperpigmentation. One reviewer contends that the natural blend doesn’t make her sensitive skin break out compared with other variations.
Korean brand Laneige is responsible for another BB cushion compact that we love. Each sponge comes soaked in skin-perfecting color, which simultaneously filters out the appearance of imperfections and imparts a dewy glow. 
This BB cream feels almost like a tinted sunscreen; it’s a true combination of makeup and skincare. It uses a mix of fully vegan and 70% organic ingredients (including rose stem cells) to diminish signs of aging. Plus, its SPF 30 stays water-resistant for up to 80 minutes post-application.
