Nubian is gearing up to release a collaborative take on NEEDLES‘ signature track pants. The two Japanese imprints look to change the perception of track pants with a new elegant take on the sportswear staple. Rather than design a leg that’s to be worn with sneakers, NUBIAN has increased the cutting of the silhouette to allow for pairing with larger coats and leather dress shoes.
Made to appeal to an older audience, the loose-fitting velour pants feature a braided side-stripe that gives the pants more depth and texture, and are offered up in three colors — gold, silver, and dark gray. The brands have also hinted that this release is highly limited and will not be produced again.
Those interested can find them dropping today at NUBIAN Harajuku and NUBIAN Ueno for a price of ¥24,000 JPY (approximately $215 USD).
