Trailing behind the windbreaker-inspired Air Max 98s that we saw towards the end of last month, Nike is back with another rendition of the thematic color scheme, this time over a crisp white base.
Coming in a "White/Teal Nebula" colorway, bright blue stripes appear throughout the uppers, alongside hits of "University Gold" and black leather accents. The top of the tongue is stamped with "air max" branding, complemented by clean round laces and ripstop eyelets. A series of blue stripes are sewn across the sidewalls, underscored by a thin strip of reflective piping that separates the top from the lower mudguard panels. Placed at the sides, a teal Swoosh is outlined with yellow embroidery, while the "Nike Air" logo appears at the rear quarter. All of these features sit atop a full-length Air Unit midsole that shows off its blue-tinted inner cushioning technology.
