Nike recently dropped hot weather-appropriate Air Satin Shorts, and now the Swoosh brand is back with another summery release. Launching in "University Gold/Black/University Blue," Nike’s latest Air Max 270 is a reminder that the tie-dye trend is still going strong.
The women’s exclusive colorway is what pastel dreams are made of. The signature air bubble-cushioned heel counter is transparent in a "University Blue" shade that’s almost purple. Starting from the heel tab, the sneaker is dipped in sunset colorways. The ombré lateral and tongue begin with a warm "University Gold," then fade into soft peach, hot pink and pastel purple on the toe vamp. The rest of the upper, as well as the sole, shoelaces, toe cap and eye stay, are stark white, giving the gradient shoe a clean edge. To complete the kicks, black Swoosh and Air Max 270 branding emboss the lateral, heel, tongue and toe cap.
