As the Shox BB4 is making its return, Nike is back with an all-new women’s silhouette in the Shox Enigma.
The Shox was originally inspired by Forumla 1 cars and utilized spring-like system that absorbs heel impact allowing people to channel that additional power right into their next stride. The shoe was not widely accepted when it first dropped but slowly through cultural integration, like Vince Carter debuting them at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, as well as the zeitgeist itself being more geared towards the chunky shoe, it’s making a welcomed return.
The first colorway that comes in this new pack is the "Lime Blast," shaking things up with nubuck black along most of the shoe in addition to lime accents on the heel tab, toe cap and springs. The second colorway is the "Hyper Crimson," which features the same exact look of the former but with orange accents in those same places where the lime sits. With a bold iridescent material on the tongue and four-prong cushioning at the rear, the shoe has strengthened momentum for performance and a signature look that becomes instantly recognizable in any arena.
These two new color mixes are set to debut on August 29 at Nike.com for $135 USD.
Recently, comedic legend Jerry Seinfield was seen in a New York Mets x Nike Shox TL custom.
