My 65-Year-Old Mom Knows What’s Cool Before I Do

In case you missed it last time, my mom is really cool—like next-level cool. So cool, in fact, that I feel guilty keeping her all to myself. So now she’s back, and this time she’s sharing her top picks for summer.

But before you scroll through her favorite pieces, let me first tell you a little bit about why she’s such a style icon. My mom does not let her age define her. In fact, as previously mentioned, she dresses way cooler than I do. Despite our 42-year age difference, I would wear anything in my mom’s closet, and most of the time, I’m beyond envious of the things she has that I don’t. There’s a level of effortlessness that my mom has carried with her throughout the years. She doesn’t give in to trends that don’t make sense for her, nor does she wear clothing she’s uncomfortable in.
