On May 6 of this year, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first-born son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor into the British Royal Family. Last Saturday, they held an intimate christening at Windsor Castle’s Private Chapel.
Two official photos of the private event surfaced on the Internet featuring a family photo with Archie’s grandparents on both sides, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Diana’s sisters Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale. The second photo is a close-up intimate shot in black-and-white of the royal couple with their son by the Rose Garden at Windsor Castle.
Everyone was dressed for the occasion, especially the Duchess of Sussex in her simplistic white Dior gown featuring quarter-length sleeves styled with a white hat and nude heels. To complete her look, Markle opted for a slicked-back low bun hairstyle and a natural makeup finish. According to the official Instagram account of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archie was baptized wearing a handmade replica of the royal christening gown made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin which has been worn by royal infants for the last 11 years.
