Maison Mihara Yasuhiro continues to create inventive takes on classic footwear silhouettes. Building off its recent Melting Skate Slip-Ons, this new summertime offering sees parts of a snowboard binding mixed in with a sandal.
The bonded jersey sandals have a thick-padded ankle strap that replaces the snowboard’s ratchet-tightening system with a press-release buckle. The toe and slingback strap are secured via Velcro material — for a total number of three straps. Finishing off the sandals is a lush leather footbed, a "MMY" logo tag, and full-transparent cushioning around the entire outsole.
