The 2019/20 football season is well underway. However that hasn’t stopped New Balance and Liverpool from unleashing a murdered out kit to celebrate.
Inspired by the 1982/1983 season, the limited edition kit drops The Reds’ usual crimson colorway for an all-black look. The design also builds off of legendary manager Bob Paisley OBE’s birth, while the pinstripes play on Liverpool’s 1982/83 strip when Paisley was the manager. Elsewhere the main sponsorship logo and New Balance’s insignia have also been dressed in the dark tone. Additionally, Liverpool’s club badge has swapped its golden hue to complete the monochromatic look. Unfortunately this kit won’t be worn by the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané on the pitch.
Interested fans can purchase Liverpool’s all-black kit now for €90 EUR (approximately $100 USD) over at New Balance and Liverpool’s online store.
In related news, Liverpool is reportedly on the verge of signing a record kit deal with Nike.
