One month after unveiling the lead single for his forthcoming studio album HARDAWAY, Bay Area star-in-the-making Lil Pete is serving up the official follow-up to his "Honest" single and visual. Celebrating his recent streak of success, the fast-rising up-and-comer takes a trip to a scenic coastal stretch of northern California to search for the perfect setting for the clip in support of his latest HARDAWAY single, "Toast." Specifically, Lil Pete and director Adrian Per decide to take over an opulent seaside mansion for the "Toast" vignette, giving HARDAWAY‘s sophomore single a fitting visual narrative. Lil Pete just turned 23, so he also treated this shoot as a both a commemorative event and a gift.
"I worked really hard on HARDAWAY; it’s like my debut,” Lil Pete shares. "I Made A Promise and 4EverFocused were tapes. I spent so much time on this album. I feel like I gotta go hard and make a way." When it comes to the driving factors behind that by-any-means motivation, the reasoning can be boiled down to one thing: family. "I’ve just been saving so I can help out family, friends, and be a homeowner at a young age," he adds. Considering his current momentum and the speed at which his songs and videos hit the million mark, he shouldn’t have any issues attaining those goals.
