What does it all mean?
Kylie Jenner’s cosmetics line has been making waves from the start, reportedly set to become a billion dollar beauty brand by 2022.
But it wasn’t her company’s lucrative future or trademark struggles that got the world talking this week. Instead, it was the names of Kylie’s new make up products.
Spoiler alert – the internet is very confused.
This week, the 21-year-old launched her new Valentine’s collection – and there seems to be a surprising nod to Taylor Swift.
Taking to her Insta stories, the beauty boss unboxed the latest products, revealing three new lips shades, named ‘Built To Last’, ‘Story Of Us’ and ‘Forever And Always’.
And while the choices could simply be a coincidence, Story of Us and Forever and Always are the names of two well-known Taylor Swift songs.
So what does it all mean?
Well, the internet seems to be be split, with some seeing the names as a dig at the Look What You Made Me Do singer, especially given that her sister Kim Kardashian had a past public feud with Swift. Others however have seen the lipstick shade names as the extension of an olive branch, and the symbol of a potential friendship.
‘Kylie was the only exception from the Kardashians. She loves Taylor by heart,’ tweeted one fan, while another posted: ‘Taylor will sue’.
We don’t know what to think.
