Valuetainment has released a video interview that has reignited the Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant feud, but this time more in a light-hearted manner. The video opens with Patrick Bet-David asking Kobe the question: "Who would Shaq be if he had your work ethic?" To which Kobe replies, "He’d be the greatest of all time."
While The Black Mamba does go on to compliment Shaq, he also mentions that if Shaq was at the gym more often that he’d already have 12 Championship rings with the Los Angeles Lakers — something he says he points out to Shaq in person on the regular. Kobe then goes on the tell the story about how he gained the respect of Shaq when the two got into a fist fight. The clip ends with Kobe elaborating on his lack of passing to Shaq in which he explains in a comical story that takes us back to when Bryant was 18 years old.
Sure enough, this video caught the eye of The Big Aristotle and was met with a very Shaq-like response. Catch the Tweets below and watch the story-filled video above.
