As seen in last week’s drop of KAPITAL’s 12oz OKABILLY Gypsy Patchwork Denim in “Ashbury Dye,” the Japanese denim stalwart is no stranger to turning traditional designs on its head through its playful lens. This time around, the label has released a set of brightly colored eagle necklaces in a glossy alloy lacquer coating, offering up a contemporary touch to the traditional motif.
Glazed over a bevy of masterfully carved lines, the necklaces come in seven distinctive colors: white, pink, olive, turquoise, grey, black and light purple. From its sharp head to its intricately detailed rows of coverts, each piece sees a large eagle spread out, complete with five feathers that hang below. The largest feather is placed in the middle, followed by smaller feathers on the left and right. As a final note, a thin tonal chain comes with the large pendant, held together by a central ring under the tail.
The KAPITAL Alloy Lacquer Eagle Necklace is currently available at kapital-webshop.jp for approximately $181 USD.
Elsewhere, Jil Sander has unveiled a set of brass capsule-shaped jewelry.
