With rumors floating around that Kanye West is reportedly trademarking "Sunday Service" for a new brand, we recently received clips from the latest installment of gospel gathering.
This time around, Kanye’s talented choir looked to put a Christian spin on some of the most iconic songs in the music world. Most notably, the group altered the lyrics of classic Nirvana songs "Come As You Are" and "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Completely changing the message and tone of the tracks, the takes on the grunge rock anthems spread a holy message centered around faith and understanding.
If that wasn’t impressive already, from Kim Kardashian‘s Instagram Stories, we also saw that the choir put their gospel spin on Snoop Dogg‘s "Drop It Like It’s Hot," Clipse‘s "Grindin" and No Doubt‘s "Don’t Speak."
Catch the gospel renditions of Nirvana’s "Come As You Are" and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" above and the soulful take on No Doubt’s "Don’t Speak" below.
In case you missed it, Playboi Carti recently announced his new album will be featureless and dropping in 60 days.
