Jil Sander has released a leather calendar keychain that gives a nod to the label’s Fall/Winter 2018 campaign film which was directed by Wim Wenders. It joins a host of unique pieces released by the label in recent weeks, including the marble pins and highly sought-after large canvas tote bag.
The piece is, in fact, a more recent runway item produced under the creative directive duo, Luke and Lucie Meier. Jil Sander crafts the calendar keychain from round leather panels that interlock with each other, and stay in place thanks to a silver-toned stud that staples the dials to the strap.
It is crafted to mirror a perpetual calendar — one which can be valid for many years as you can look up any date between now and the future thanks to its interchangeable interface. Crisp, minimalistic markings in white detail the days, months and date all around, while a silver-toned circular metal clasp rounds off the accessory’s design. Pick one up for yourself from retailers such as MATCHESFASHION.COM for $360 USD.
