JAY-Z is officially the sixth artist in history to accumulate 100 solo appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The rapper achieves this feat after "Mood 4 Eva," his collaborative track with Beyoncé, Childish Gambino and Oumou Sangaré, debuted at No. 90 on the August 3-dated ranking. He joins the Glee Cast (207 appearances), Drake (196 appearances), Lil Wayne (163 appearances), Elvis Presley (109 appearances) and Nicki Minaj (103 appearances) on the exclusive list.
Hov has topped the Hot 100 chart four times, first with Mariah Carey for "Heartbreaker" in 1999, then Beyoncé for "Crazy In Love" in 2003, Rihanna for "Umbrella in 2007" and Alicia Keys for "Empire State of Mind" in 2009. Additionally, 21 of his 100 entries have peaked in the top 10.
As the rapper celebrates this historical feat, his daughter Blue Ivy Carter also earns her first Hot 100 entry alongside mother Beyoncé, SAINt JHN and Wizkid on "Brown Skin Girl." The four-minute cut, taken from The Lion King: The Gift, debuted at No. 76 on the newest chart ranking.
