London-based label Everpress has launched its annual "50/50" campaign, seeing artists design limited-edition tees for a charitable cause. This is the third year of the "50/50" campaign, and follows on from last year’s collection that raised money for Amnesty International.
The 2019 campaign features a diverse list of artists and creatives including musicians Jai Paul and Obongjayar, artist Jean Jullien, and publications including CARICOM and gal-dem. Other designs in this year’s collection come from photographers such as Vicky Grout and Rosie Matheson, as well as Rhiannon-Isabel Barry of Wavey Garms and London-based label Hanger Inc.
Each of the 50 creatives involved in the collection has designed one T-shirt, and this year’s campaign will support community-led organization Justice4Grenfell. The organization was set up in the aftermath of the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower over two years ago, and its aim is to obtain justice for the bereaved families, as well as survivors, evacuated residents and the wider community.
All 50 T-shirts are available now from the Everpress web store.
