Yes, the label that is already dead…Donald Trump has been making controversial decisions left, right and centre, and no one is remotely surprised.
But who often bears the brunt of it? First Daughter and political advisor, Ivanka Trump, who repeatedly supports the president’s policies when quite frankly, she really should be questioning them.
While popularity-wise, Ivanka is probably at a record low, coming under fire recently for breaking a major political rule and even admitting to cycling in the dark to avoid abuse, it was her fashion line that made news this week.
The strangest part about it? Ivanka permanently closed her four-year-old fashion brand last year, explaining in a statement that her reasons were to focus on her White House work with her father.

Despite her company being dead, Ivanka’s fashion brand made news this week over its trademarks.
According to the Associated Press, the Chinese government have just approved applications for five of her company’s trademarks this month, set to go into effect in 90 days.
But why? Some are arguing that the applications were filed in 2016 and 2017 and are therefore just a delayed outcome, but with the president’s trade negotiations with China coinciding with the announcement, it’s all a little suspicious.
The First Daughter’s reps have reportedly insisted however that the trademarks are simply to protect from knockoffs.
