Ivanka Trump is almost as much of a controversial figure as her father, President Donald Trump.
Sure, she doesn’t create the laws but she stands behind her father as he does, with her support for her dad actually getting her a White House position.
That’s right. The 37-year-old former TV personality and socialite was made Assistant to the President – a highly-coveted position – and given a West Wing office, classified information clearance and a government-issued phone – something that prompted the public to call out as nepotism.

So Ivanka plays the roles of both First Daughter and Assistant to the President – two identities she reportedly flits between depending on the situation.
In fact, according to reports, it has been a bone of contention within the White House walls, with the First Daughter even once having ‘a screaming match’ with the former White House Chief Strategist for going above her station and bypassing the White House chief of staff in gaining access to her father in a work capacity.

This week however it was another issue that became a talking point – Ivanka’s access to Air Force One.
According to the New York Times, Vicky Ward’s new book, Kushner inc: Greed. Ambition. Corruption, details how the First Daughter reportedly asked to travel on Air Force planes frequently – something that was consistently rejected.
But according to the book, via the New York Times, the First Daughter found a way around the issue, inviting cabinet-level officials on the trips in order to get the aircraft.
A spokesman for Kushner’s attorney has rubbished the claims.
