Fashion Month rolls on. With Paris and Copenhagen Fashion Weeks completed, the industry spotlight turns to New York. As the shows begin, editors, bloggers, stylists, artists and photographers all descend upon City That Never Sleeps to solidify the key trends of the season.
If nothing else, the current taste of insiders hews toward bright colors, with brazen solid tones dominating many of the looks. Alongside screamingly loud neon yellow, unapologetic orange appears consistently, whether its courtesy of Off-White™ x Nike Blazers, a CALVIN KLEIN jacket or Prada handbag. Logos are still very much of-the-moment, though 2018’s logomania has given way to a preference for playful patterns and distinctive branding, with attendees preferring legible, bold-face branding from Balenciaga or Gucci.
