Virgil Abloh‘s long list of collaborations is rivaled only by very few creatives in the industry. The extensive legacy of Hiroshi Fujiwara is one of the few that compares, with decades spent perfecting the art of the collaboration. Surprisingly, the pair have only joined forces a handful of times in the past, making a forthcoming team-up feel all the more impactful.
Dropping exclusively at Fujiwara’s THE CONVENI shop in Ginza, Abloh has delivered a special Off-White™ tee tucked inside a thematic cereal box, keeping with the convenience store motif that informs the store’s layout. The shirt, executed in black, sports co-branding on the chest by way of two equally-sized circular logos, with plenty of room for more imagery on the rear. Meanwhile, its packaging is a bold orange faux cereal box laden with "OFF" text, nutritional information and graphics of "OW" shapes dipping into a bowl of milk.
