We want in!
Meghan Markle went on maternity leave last week, taking some time to prepare for the arrival of the royal baby, reportedly due in April.
But besides selecting vegan paint colour palettes for the newborn’s nursery and shortlisting the god parent options, the Duchess of Sussex will also be organising her second baby shower.
Meghan’s first bash was a star studded affair in a New York penthouse, boasting A-list pal attendees from Jessica Mulroney and Abigail Spencer to Amal Clooney and Serena Williams.
And while the details of the event are being kept a secret, there have been rumours of a flower arranging class and a dessert table – yes, really. A dessert table.
Meghan’s upcoming UK baby shower however is said to be quite different, especially in terms of people.
‘Doria is coming to a baby shower here,’ a source told the Daily Mail. ‘It will be a small gathering of five or six people.’
And where is the intimate gathering set to take place? Apparently it might actually be a Buckingham Palace Party due to the ongoing renovations at Frogmore Cottage.
There is no news yet as to whether any royals, from Kate Middleton to Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, will attend, but judging by the potential central location, there’s a likelihood!
Any chance of a cameo from Queen Elizabeth herself? Only time will tell!
