Having shared a short teaser early last month, HBO has now dropped the first full-length trailer for its upcoming Zendaya-starring series, Euphoria.
Produced by Drake and based on an Israeli series of the same, the show will center around a group of teens dealing with substance abuse, sexuality, social media and much more. Zendaya, who can be seen in Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home flick, plays the character of drug addict Rue.
“At some point you make a choice about who you are and what you want,” Zendaya can be heard saying in the trailer above. “Suddenly the whole world goes dark and nothing else matters but the person standing in front of you. Every time I feel good, I think it’ll last forever — but it doesn’t.” She continues, "I promise you, if I could be a different person, I would. Not because I want it, but because they do."
Maude Apatow, Sydney Sweeney, Algee Smith and Jacob Elordi star alongside Zendaya. Directed by Sam Levinson, Euphoria premieres on HBO June 16.
Earlier, HBO released its final Game of Thrones teaser giving fans a look at who’s left to die.
