PORTER has teamed up alongside luxury fashion house Fendi for some of the Japanese brand’s most expensive pieces, ever. As showcased in Fendi’s Fall/Winter 2019 runway collection, the collaboration remixes the Italian house’s Peekaboo and Baguette bags. As can be expected, the range utilizes PORTER’s signature nylon material as a base, with various gold or silver-colored metal details placed throughout.
In terms of the pieces themselves, the Baguette bags are set to arrive in blue, red, silver gray, black, with the Peekaboo offered up in silver gray and black. The Peekaboo bag is the bigger of the two, allowing for more storage and carrying space for your various items. The Baguette takes on a similar style to that of a bum bag, offered up in a smaller size to allow e enough storage for your everyday carry. Detail-wise, the nylon material is accented by various pieces of metal hardware, with various branding included throughout. To round off the collaborative items, each piece has been emblazoned with a co-branded patch, which is visible on each piece’s front side.
You can take a look at the bags via the gallery above. The runway collection also previewed a brown version of the Peekaboo bag and an olive-colored version of the Baguette bag, but have yet to be confirmed for the release.
The bags will arrive at Fendi’s Japan flagships, Porter’s Omotesando store, and online via PORTER’s official webstore on September 2. Customers can pre-order the items via Fendi’s Japan stores between August 27 and September 1. The Peekaboo and Baguette bags are priced at ¥406,000 JPY (approx. $3,840 USD) and ¥239,000 JPY (approx. $2,260 USD), respectively.
