With the recent release of the Nike Air Fear of God Raid, Fear of God makes another return with a bright-hued footwear piece, this time directing its focus more on heritage-inspired designs. Tinged in light ochre and mustard-yellow, the boots are sectioned into two parts — a ski-inspired top canvas and a suede panel that sits below. The heavy-duty canvas upper is slightly faded, carefully stitched together and padded for added comfort and insulation. A suede velcro strap wraps around the ankle while drawstrings at the top offer the option of slimming the high-top. The heel stay is graced in premium suede, running down to meet the lower portion of the boot, while the nubuck panels are secured with tonal double-stitching all around. Rounding out the heritage details is the white rubber sole that’s slightly raised at the heel and is finished with "Fear Of God" embossing at the back. Made in Italy, the high tops are a nod to concepts in Lorenzo’s SS19 Collection — Irving Penn’s photo archive of 20th-century cattle drivers and industrial workers.
