artica-arbox is the brainchild of artistic director Irene Roth and former YEEZY CEO Cristiano Minchio. The newly-launched label has now presented its upcoming Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
The unisex brand has delivered a lookbook spotlighting its collection which explores themes surrounding sci-fi realms and visions of the future, reinterpreting space age body suits and form-fitting garments for its ready-to-wear collection. Pieces such as the trench coat, waxed field jacket and military overalls combine a traditional cut and aesthetic with modern day fabrication, featuring design elements such as translucent plastic piping to rubberized Velcro fasteners and transparent military pockets.
Founder Irene Roth said in a press release, "In exploring the inspiration for this collection of the conflict between the virtual and physical world, the phrase ‘Emotional Difficulties – Please Stand By’ was front and center in my mind in questioning the idea of authenticity in the way we live today."
Standout looks include the label’s wide range of denim pant offerings, which fit in a relaxed "Dad" style, as well as its oversized trench coats and graphic shirt.
