Epic Games and 2K Games have announced a Fortnite x Borderlands crossover event, introducing a new skin of Psycho, a Claptrap backpack, free weapon wraps, sprays, and more. The new update has even added a new area that resembles the upcoming Borderlands 3 world of Pandora, which appears near a rift zone previously introduced in Season X.
It even retained the Borderlands series cel-shaded art style. If players stay in the area long enough without taking damage, characters will start generating a shield. This is the first of many previous crossovers with Fortnite, such as its John Wick 3 and Avengers: Endgame events. Also included in this update is a new Sheild Bubble item.
The Borderlands 3 event will last up to September 10, just a few days before the title’s September 13 release date.
