It’s been nearly a year and half since END. and Diadora linked up on the V7000 silhouette, and now the U.K.-based retailer and Italian athletic company are joining forces again to rework the N9002 model. The upcoming "Lido" edition was inspired by open-air swimming pools in Northeast Italy, informing its sea-blue color palette and maritime details.
Baby blue underlays get contrasted with a grey mudguard along the upper, while Diadora’s stripe logo is featured in a sleek tan colorway on the side panels. To underscore the cerulean palette, the duo has strapped the sneaker with a transparent outsole coated in "Baltic" blue. Meanwhile, a towel-like sockliner has been added to accentuate the Mediterranean theme. An embroidered "END." logo on the tongue and "Diadora" emblem on the heel give the style a branded finish.
The END. x Diadora "Lido" comes packaged in a custom aquatic-themed box and is set to release on May 11 at END.’s webstore.
